Foundational Principles
1. Make it BIG + BEST + BEAUTIFUL
BIG or nothing.
BEST because it’s a race, you don’t exist in isolation, it’s competition for attention. Because in a race every lap matters, and you must aim at winning them all. Fulfil potential. Be the best you can be, at all times.
BEAUTIFUL because humans have an aspiration for beauty. We remember Leonardo for beauty across disciplines (virgin of the rock, airplanes drawings springing beauty).
2. Be useful
Your measure is your help to others. Your purpose is your soul.
Aim at eminently useful, not relatively useful. Threshold of materiality. Do not be irrelevant and immaterial. Impact comes with scale.
Elevate purpose over presence. Value is found not in self-glory but in service to others. Let your soul's compass guide your pursuits. Strive to leave an indelible mark. After all, true relevance doesn’t whisper; it resonates.
Decide to care. Decide to be that one person that stops by, holds on, to care and take care. The one that moves the needles, the one person that matter in another person’s life. It’s not a choice, it’s a must.
3. Be kind
Be kind: Gentle scientists, not aggressive salespeople.
“There are three ways to ultimate success:
The first way is to be kind.
The second way is to be kind.
The third way is to be kind.”
Fred Rogers.
4. Second chances
Second chances. principle to live by, everybody has a place and role to play.
We don’t give up on people. We make it work ten times over and restart.
Integrity and humility. Strive to build trust through honesty, transparency, and a humble approach to learning and growth - believe in the potential of individuals and offer second chances.
Not everybody can be great, but Greatness can come from anywhere.
There are no prima-donnas, no losers.
5. Team first
‘There is no ‘i’ in the team’. All in, all out. Aut simul stabunt aut simul cadent.
Prioritize collaboration and teamwork, collective efforts lead to greater achievements than individual ones.
People are not an afterthought. They are the thing, the top priority.
The team wins. To go fast go alone, to go far go together
We are in it together. Till the end. No pointing fingers and blaming and whining and complaining. We take wins and losses alike, together. Losses especially.
We’ll show our worth in the bad times. It’s easy to behave and distribute at the good times, when everything goes well. But it’s at the tough times, when the game gets hard, that you show your true colours, your character, your purpose, your worth.
No ego, ego is the enemy.
6. Intelligence is overrated. Character builds.
Character is king. Intelligence may illuminate paths, but it's the character that builds empires. Stand steadfast in integrity, even when the world wavers.
7. Build, don’t rush
Tunnel vision, endurance and grit, perseverance through adversity to advance.
Keep fresh mentality, open mind.
Craft, Don’t Chase. Greatness isn't rushed; it's meticulously sculpted. Embrace the journey with vision, grit, and an undying spirit.
Stay curious, stay receptive.
8. Show courage
If you lose money you lose nothing, if you lose health you lose a lot, if you Lose character you lose everything.
Demonstrate bravery in making difficult decisions, prioritizing well-being over short-term gains.
Valour above all. True loss isn't monetary; it's the compromise of our core. Face challenges with undaunted courage. Choose well-being over fleeting rewards, character over convenience.
9. It’s not what we get, it’s what we become.
Don’t aim for money, aim for impact.
Cherish the journey. It's not about the treasures we amass, but the legends we become.
Don't chase gold; pursue the golden impact.
10. The only trade that matters is the next trade.
You are only as good as your next trade.
Eyes on the horizon. Past accolades are shadows; what lies ahead is the radiant dawn.
Excellence is an ongoing quest. The next endeavour defines you.
Nature evolves, look for emerging property of a dynamic system. We change when we decide.
